Yesterday we found out that Season 4 will be suspended with the release of Patch 3.0. A snapshot of rating will be used to reward end of season rewards but the season will continue. Today Nethaera gave us their promised 2 week notice for the ending of Season 4. Reasoning says that October 14th will not only be the end of Season 4 but also the release of Patch 3.0.
This marks the end of The Burning Crusade as we know it. New talents, professions and rewards will be released along with the ending of any serious PvP until level 80. You can bet all those noobs in your guild who left for Warhammer will be coming back to get to know their new class talents.
We can't really expect Blizzard to fix the all of the classs imbalances that are currently apparent on the Public Test Realm. Instead they will use live servers as a testing ground for their latest attempts to balance the classes before Wrath hits stores. Inscription will also be released, so make sure you are prepared to level Inscription to 300.
