Hey there. Think tree's got some good adventages helping You play. First, you do NOT need Firestarter, neither Improved Scorch. If you want your DPS to be good, there's not thinking about using it, and so You get 3 more talent points. Pyromaniac and Critical Mass are very useful - if you are playing half as good to use this tree, 3 or more targets WILL take DOT's from your spells, and CM is just awesome. Also, for bonus DPS, you need all the 2nd line of fire to be full. Improved Flamestrike is epic - it doesnt really bonus your Flamestrike THAT much, because it still consumes a kind huge amount of mana, but it boosts your Blast Wave to do lotsa AOE dmg, very useful in PvE when tank's not lacking threat. Why Improved Counterspell ? Okay, we can say it shortly - not that many people play ONLY PvE. Sometimes you just wanna do some arenas or BGs. Okay, next, Netherwind Presence and Piercing Ice are just obvious for bonus DPS.
