Transferring Heirlooms Across Faction

As I recently started leveling up another character it came to my attention that some people were still unaware that you can transfer heirloom items to characters of the opposite faction. For example, if you already have a bunch of heirloom items on some alliance toons you can now send your heirloom items to a horde character on that same server.

Don't get too excited about the prospect of possibly transferring gold or bags to this character though because it still cannot be done, but I'd say that the ability to mail the heirlooms is something good.

Dugi's Dungeon Leveling Guide - Review

Dugi is at it again with a brand new leveling guide, unlike any on the market today. Introducing, Dugi's Dungeon Leveling Guide.

This guide uses dungeon finder to help you level all the way from 1-80. It uses an in game addon to tell you where to go and what to do for leveling via dungeons. First off, you will do 1-15 outside of the dungeons and once you hit level 16 you will be directed to which dungeons to complete.

Hayden Hawke's Leveling Secrets - Review

It was recently announced on Almost Gaming that Hayden Hawke, the author of The Secret Gold Guide, was releasing a leveling guide. Although I am unaware of the exact release date of the guide it appears to be soon and I have had the special opportunity of reviewing the guide before its official release.

Cataclysm Beta Coming Soon?

For those of you eagerly awaiting the Cataclysm expansion you might be excited to hear that there have been rumors floating around lately that the Friends and Family Testing for the expansion will begin in April. Yes, April, and what month is it?....April!

For reference, beta invites for Wrath of the Lich King were sent out approximately 4 months before the expansion was officially released. So don't get too eager or excited because there are still a lot of months ahead of us before the expansion is actually out.

I've recently had the opportunity to review a brand new set of guides that aren't even available for sale. Just today Zygor officially announced his release of a set of dailies and events guides. These guides are designed to help players complete dailies and events (such as Brewfest and Feast of the Winter Veil) super fast without wasting any time.

Dugi's Leveling Guides V4 - Review

In case you've been out of the loop Dugi has released a new version of his leveling guides. Dugi's guide have been out there in the WoW scene for a while and I've found his guides to be really helpful and although I've experienced his leveling guide for a while I feel it's only necessary to talk about the new V4 because it's so helpful.

Here are some of the great features of this guide and btw this guide is available for both Horde and Alliance.

100% In-Game Leveling Guide

Automatic Quest History Tracking

Automatic Step Detection

Warcraft Blueprint - Review

It's that time again, another new WoW guide has been released. This time the claim is that it is written by a girl gamer who reveals all her secrets from how to make loads of gold, leveling super fast, and pvping like a champ. Here is the break down quick of what you get (the list of things offered in these guides is really too big for me to retype so I have instead copied the actual text from the Warcraft Blueprint page to let you read it yourself):

Gold Generating Guide

The secret to boosting your gold count faster, even while you’re farming!

What Jane McGonigal's TED Talk Didn't Mention

This is a review, a critique, or some random thoughts on Jane McGonigal's TED Talk about Gaming can make a better world. If you haven't seen this video, you can watch it here: http://www.ted.com/talks/jane_mcgonigal_gaming_can_make_a_better_world.h...

Jane McGonigal brought up a lot of good points, provided a lot of inspiration, and probably gave a lot of people who watched it some hope that they could accomplish things that they do in World of Warcraft, at the same capacity in real life. Let's talk about real life and not games.
