The most common reason people tell you to get out and vote is because its an American Right and our Duty. Others say that if you don't vote you have no right to complain about the results (we know this isn't true because not voting doesn't revoke our right to freedom of speech). Then there are those who say that if you don't vote you are as good as dead because your voice isn't being heard. All of these might be good reasons but I'm going to explain to you the single most important reason why you should vote that almost no one talks about.

Blizzard Intentionally Deletes World of Warcraft and your Characters!

On October 14th, 2008, a day that will live in infamy, Blizzard has intentionally deleted their best selling game, World of Warcraft, and incidentally deleted all of the characters associated with the game.

The only thing that remains the same is your character names, class names, and levels; the entire game has been deleted and remade right before your eyes. Not even David Blaine can get away by charging you $15 a month for this type of magic trick, but Blizzard has pulled it off, undoubtedly making them one of the greatest magicians of all times.

A major calamity has been brewing in the financial market over the past few years. The largest known contributor to the financial crisis was in fact the high demand for people to borrow money to buy WoW Strategy Guides to prepare for Wrath of The Lich King's release in 2008. Prior to this discovery, popular belief was that it was actually the lending practices and housing crisis that was responsible for one of the largest credit freezes in history, but it turns out this was indeed wrong.

The Great Honor Reset Controversy

After making an official statement in May explicitly saying that Honor and Honor Marks would not be reset in the expansion, Blizzard changed their minds and promised to do the exact opposite.

Let's take a look at what type of impact this is going to have. Anyone who spent the last 3 months saving up 75,000 honor and 100 marks of each flavor will be forced to spend them on existing or new honor gear (listed below). Just to get 75,000 honor we're talking 50-100 hours. If you actually managed to cap all the marks that's another story I won't get into. This is roughly equivalent to 5,000 - 10,000 gold, and easily more (of doing dailies, farming primals, doing heroics, etc). All completely gone.

Battle Grounds do not have hisotry of being very even, in the Whirlwind Battle Group Alliance loses Eye of the Storm a lot more often than it wins. When I played on Stormreaver Horde was in a similar position. Several people have been kind enough to share their opinions publicly.
