Paladin Tank Pre-Karazhan Gear

When I started doing research in how to gear up my Paladin I found that a lot of the gearing is the same as for my Warrior, for that reason this guide ended up looking a lot like my Warrior Pre-Kara guide. The most significant difference is that you're going to want to get some decent +Spell Damage. The best place to do this without sacrificing other stats is to put it on your sword. Since your sword does not need to have high damage (most of your threat is generated through Holy Spell Damage).

The following guide is for a Beast Mastery Hunter talent build but you can probably gather most of this gear for any Hunter Talent Build and still be pretty good. The only change you may want to make if you are not a BM spec is to get a slower Ranged weapon than the Bow I suggest.

Before you can enter the instance you must have completed the Keepers of Time entrance quest. (Boring 10 minute escort where someone shows you around the Caverns of Time) It is done right outside the instance from the quest give Andormu so donâ€™t worry if you have not done it yet.

So to begin this instance you should grab a set of bombs from the Keeper of Time quest-giver right where enter the instance. Then go ahead and hop on the Dragons back and take a trip down to Durnholde Keep way before you knew it in Hillsbrad today.

How to kill Attumen the Huntsmen (Karazhan)

Overall this is not a complicated fight. The horse trash at the beginning of the instance respawns every twenty-five minutes or so, so you do need to get through the pulls in a steady pace. When you reach the boss encounter, you want to do a full rebuff and make sure everyone is ready for the pull. Ideally you will have two decently geared tanks (one of them preferably a protection warriorâ€”more on this later.)

The only Level 70 instance in the Auchindoun complex is also one of the longer five-mans in Outland. Shadow Labyrinth presents you with quite a lot of somewhat difficult trash, interspersed with some of the most fun and unique small dungeon bosses in the game.
