The Lore

If I were to read the books about World of Warcraft, which one would I start with? There are too many to choose from!

There is a bunch of free stuff here: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/story/index.html There is a timeline, sample chapters, book summaries and even some eBooks you can read. You can also sample the books there and via a google search with the exact book title.

Chronologically 'The Well of Eternity' is first, set 10,000 years ago (which is the first part of the War of the Ancients Trilogy) as you can see here: http://www.wowwiki.com/Timeline_%28from_official_site%29
Otherwise I you're meant to start with Day of the Dragon and finish that series: Lord of the Clans and The Last Guardian.
