Blacksmithing and mining

Okay so I have a bunch of ore but the recipies require bars....how do I turn the ore into bars?

Assuming you have already learned the mining profession; you also have another ability to smelt.

You can find the smelting ability in your spell book under the general tab. If you click on that button you will be able to see all of the things you can smelt. You must be near a forge to smelt ore into bars and to get new smelting recipes you must visit your mining trainer.

If you are not a miner then you can find one to smelt the ore for you.
