How to enchant

Can you give me step by step instructions on how to enchant an item. I am still enchanting braers and chest. I just keep forgetting how to do it. where to place the item in the trade box, etc. . .

Open enchanting window, click enchant, click on the item you wish to enchant.

To enchant an item in the trade window put it into the bottom will not be traded slot, and repeat the above steps.
