Where are the best places to farm Primal Fire and Primal Shadow?

dont know about fire motes (any fire motes, duh, but i dont know about the best drop rates) but for shadow motes, hellfire peninsula 74,61 to 79,80. you will find void walker type creatures west of the southern gap between the hellfire mainland and dark portal area.

these are low level mobs that are all gathered together

I find Nagrand, around Oshu'gun, the best for Shadow, and Fire is Shadowmoon Valley, in the lava, sometimes you have to wait for a bit

best spot for shadow is hellfire penn @ void ridge. For fire honestly the best spot is MINING, yes mining. I get more motes of fire from mining than from any other source. If Mining isnt your prof, then try the enraged fire spirits down in shadowmoon valley. You will find much less competition here than at Elemental Plateau in Nagrand.

Optionally: With 2.4 now released, motes of fire and shadow can be farmed while doing the dailies in Nagrand and Throne Of Kiljaeden. I am assuming you need these for shadoweave ( as I do ) with the 4 day cooldown, its easy to get one primal of each every four days bu casually downing the mobs needed or around these two quests. The fel sparks have the highest drop rate for motes of fire Ive seen so far. I'm recording about a 47% drop rateBut as people are doing daily quests on these mobs its highly competitive, so farming them really isn't the best choice UNLESS you're currently on that quest.
