How long have you been playing World of Warcraft?

I am currently playing a hunter and i am 65 with around 2.5 days of playing time. the 'secrets' of leveling guides aren't all that secret. I have never used them.

Those guides are pretty helpful for a person, who has just started and don't have friends to help him. For a beginner it is a very useful thing because for example there are quests that you can do for 40 mins for example which would give 5k xp, and another quest that you will complete for 10 minute which also gives 5k xp. Those guides tell you - dont do this quest for whatever reason or if you want to farm mats - go farm in this area because of that, that and that. Things, that a new player wouldn't know. For example - last year I leveled 70 warrior without any guides for 5 months. I quit then, because I went play LOTRO. Now, with those guides and the Jame's ingame leveling addon (which is free and imho very good being free) I would be 80 in 3 months (playing 3-4 times a week for 4-5 hours) solo play and have almost 2000 gold with almost maxed Enchanting proffesion. Yes, for some people, 3 months for leveling to 80 is a lot of time, but it is very easy for them to speak being playing for 2 or more years. Yes, I would love too to have a friends to powerlvl me through the instanses for 1 week, but i haven't just for now. I am on my own and this is one of the reason to

i find them utter crap just use carbonite addon its free and the under 8 days is only if u have no life ;p just a word of advice dont buy it

I say they arn't good. Most of them tell the information everyone knows. They barely contain any leveling "secrets". Don't buy them waste of money.
