Mounts and non-combat pets have a new storage system in Wrath of the Lich King, allowing you to carry more and keeping them out of your inventory. There are serveral new exciting mounts upcoming in Wrath, let's take a look at each one and see how we can get them. You will need your Cold Weather Flying attunement (obtainable through a level 77 quest) before the flying mounts in Northrend.
The Hog
The Hog is the Engineering specific mount coming in Wrath, similar to the Flying Machines seen in The Burning Crusade. What's new is, it is capable of carrying a passanger in its sidecar. Imagine heading to your next instance with your friend and asking for a ride, 'hop in, I'll drive!'
Magnificent Flying Carpet
Magnificent Flying Carpets bring profession-specific mounts to Tailors. The mount requires Tailoring level 450 and appears to only carry one individual.
Mammoth
The Mammoth Mount is probably the coolest land mount coming in Wrath. It's massive size allows it to carry several passengers. So far we can't conclude if its use will be limited to specific PvP areas or how it is obtained.
Frost Wyrm (Undead Drake Mount)
The Forst Wyrm might be the next Netherdrake, taking over it's role as the difficult to obtain, massive and kick ass end-game mount.
