WoW Instance Guides

Instances are the ultimate goal of World of Warcraft! Guilds play for months to clear some instances - from Onxya to Karazan. If you are having problems with any instances in the Burning Crusade, then check this guide out. The below instance guides will help you learn the best strategy to kill the hardest bosses, help you figure out what loot to expect, and help you prepare to take on all of the instances.

Here's a list of Almost Gaming's World of Warcraft instance guides.

Naxxramas Construct Quarter (Abomination Quarter)

The Abom quarter is the North Western quarter of Naxxramas. It's also the most exciting quarter as it is home to some dynamic and fun encounters. Patchwerk is a great DPS test, Grobbulus drive you insane if you try to bring noobs into the raid and Thddius's polarity shifts are an absolute blast.

Naxxramas Military Quarter (Death Knight Wing)

Military (Death Knight) Quarter is located in the southwestern portion of Naxxramas and has been considered the most difficult quarter of the four. It is home to Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Plaguebringer and the once challenging Four Horsemen (now a bit easier to manage)

Naxxramas Plague Quarter

The Plague Quarter is usually the first wing completed. Probably because it can be the quickest if done properly. The most challenging boss is Heigan the Unclean, and he is only challenging to players who haven't encountered him before. You will also face Noth the Plaguebringer and Loatheb.

Pre-Naxx Death Knight Gear

This guide will help you to get your Death Knight ready for Naxxramas 10 and then you can progress on your own from there.
I will suggest the best gear and a couple of alternatives for the item for those who may not have the time or the gold to get the best.

Head

Spiked Titansteel Helm - This helmet is crafted from a Blacksmith. It is very good, has a meta slot as well as a nice amount of hit.

Pre-Naxx Hunter Gear List

Unless you have a nice guild chances are you will have to gear up before you can being raiding with them. There are a lot of items out there that a hunter can use, but choosing the best can at times be difficult. In this guide I will advise you to pick up some gear which will help you get raid spots.

Head

King Dred's Helm This is a great piece of gear and there is only two better from Naxx 10. It drops from King Dred in Drak'Tharon Keep Heroic.

Important Raiding Addons

The main aim at level 80 is to clear the end game content. There are many addons out there that will assist you in doing this and will make it easier to assess your own performance and the performance of others.

Priest Glyphs: What's Worth the Slot, Part 2

In our examination of priest glyphs last time, we took a look at some healing-focused options, primary for the Holy spec but with some crossover for certain. This time we'll polish off healing options, and move into some PvP-centric glyphs for Discipline.

Priest Glyphs: What's Worth the Slot, Part 1

Priests have a pretty attractive set of glyphs to choose from no matter what spec they choose to be or where they intend to focus their attentions, PvE or PvP. Here's a breakdown of some of the best that you should consider and what roles they're useful for. This part focuses on glyphs you might use for Holy PvE, though there is some crossover into Discipline PvE and PvP specs as well.

Mind Power: How to Deal Damage as a Shadow Priest

No doubt in the course of leveling you settled upon a pretty solid way to grind your way through mob after mob. Shadow priests are particularly good at moving from one enemy to another quickly and with little downtime thanks to DoTs, and you probably felt pretty slick as you worked your way to 80. Once you hit the endgame, however, it's time to start working on maximizing your spellcasting to do the most damage possible in any given situation. More damage makes you a better asset to your group, will get you invited more often, and ensures you're able to gear yourself up!

Farming Relics Of Ulduar Part 2

Been back out again farming relics, some good news and some areas to stay away from. Fjorn's anvil is defiantly the best spot and the most overcrowded place in Wrath.

5. The Howling Haunt (67,47)
Relics 10
Gold 96

The cave is full with Scion Of Storm, easy clear run in the cave. Not much drops here except eternal air, bad for relics and low gold rate.

6. Bor's Breath (37,74)
Relics 56
Gold 137

With the expansion looming, many WoW gamers have felt a bit of gaming fatigue with their favorite pastime. This article gives those who may be feeling a bit down on the game in this late stage of the expansion cycle a few ideas on how best to prepare for the launch of WotLK.

Paladin Tank Pre-Karazhan Gear

When I started doing research in how to gear up my Paladin I found that a lot of the gearing is the same as for my Warrior, for that reason this guide ended up looking a lot like my Warrior Pre-Kara guide. The most significant difference is that you're going to want to get some decent +Spell Damage. The best place to do this without sacrificing other stats is to put it on your sword. Since your sword does not need to have high damage (most of your threat is generated through Holy Spell Damage).

Pre-Karazhan / Pre-Heroic Hunter Gear DPS Guide

The following guide is for a Beast Mastery Hunter talent build but you can probably gather most of this gear for any Hunter Talent Build and still be pretty good. The only change you may want to make if you are not a BM spec is to get a slower Ranged weapon than the Bow I suggest.

Paladin Epic Mount Quest

*This guide was written for the Alliance Paladin Mount Quest. If you would like to write a similar quality Horde version, please do, and please submit it to our site.

The Paladin Epic Mount Quest is somewhat of a novelty these days, you can pickup an epic ground mount for around 600g, which is about what all the materials will cost you for doing the quest. The quest will also take you 3-5 hours of time. If you don't enjoy doing these types of quest lines and don't care what type of mount your Paladin is riding, skip this guide and skip this quest. But if you enjoy the unique Charger and the sense of accomplishment given by a quest-line like this, read on.
