150 The biggest part of being a hunter is his pet. With the Beast Master talent tree, you and your pet's effectiveness in battle will be greatly increased. Most people say for PvP that a hunter should go for Survival, and some even say Marksmanship, but no one says go with Beast Mastery. I agree, that sometimes in certain situations, Marksmanship or Survival is much better than Beast Mastery, but you CAN play a Beast Mastery hunter in Battlegrounds and be quite effective. This talent build combines the Beast Mastery pet, the Marksmanship attack power, and the Survival trap speciality.
The best BM pvp spec I have
The best BM pvp spec I have found and use is 51-15-5. you go 51 in bm 15 in mm for gftt and aimed shot and 5 in imp tracking to give you a 5% base dmg to tracked targets. It really is a big help to cover the dps loss when BW is on cd and pet is feared stuned any kind of CC removing your pets ability to dps for a short period of time. If you dont like BM pvp the next would be 0-53-18 (caster killer build) HUGE BURST dmg and great CC with silence and scatter shot

the best pvp pet by far is a corehound for pvp. you get the lava breath wich does nice dmg per tick and slows casting speed by 25 percent (is incredible for you against casters do to not having a silencing ability) and with it being a ferousity class pet it does the same amont of base dmg the devisaur does and you only have a 6sec cooldown on breath unlike the devisaurs bite that has a 1-3 min cd. and only effects its dmg on that target

Oh man this spec is retarded. Skips all kinds of things that can make you a animal in the beast master spec and spends them in retarded places like mount speed, improved revive and mend wtf? While these things might be nice for leveling they arent ment for pvp. Im a 78 twinkish hunter and i go 53/16/0. It makes you do massive dmg while your pet does tons as well. I am interested in going BM/Survival because it makes your traps better and gives you scatter shot which would be nice i have to admit.

I own with the devilsaur, people seem to target it more instead of me because of its size. in bgs i just put him on aggressive and assist, since i started this tactic ive been placing in the top3 regularly. but dont forget to call him off if he gets to far away! And remember you're a hunter use your aspects, jump around like a monkey, shoot and run, drop traps whenever possible, before focusing on a single target throw stings on as many as u can (if u are confident in your target switching speed). follow these tips and u will have no problem leveling rapidly and owning in pvp.
