Druid Tanking

Best Enchants for Druid Tank Patch 3.3

This guide will cover what the best enchants for your Druid by slot. This guide assumes that you have survival of the fittest at 3/3 making you immune to crits, if not you will need to worry about defense and it may have a bigger bearing on what order to rank these in.

Please keep in mind that some things in this guide are only for specific professions, they are labeled so there is no confusion. This guide covers not only enchants but everything that is considered an item enhancement.

Druid Tanking Builds Patch 3.3

There's not a whole lot of excitement or versatility when it comes to Druid Tanking Builds. You'll spend almost all of your points in the Feral Tree, the talents you won't get will be ones that Cats primarily used. There won't be a great variation of talent builds between AoE and Single Target tanking as the other classes have. Druids are pretty straight forward, this will also cut down on the glyph options as well.

Druid Tanking Gems - Gems for Druid Tank Patch 3.3

Druids are only capable of dodging attacks, they rely on their dodge, high armor, and high hitpoints to make up in areas where other tanks excel. They make excellent tanks against caster bosses due to their high hitpoints and do fairly well in heavy melee fights although they lack a lot of the mitigation of some of the other tanks. However, Druid Tanks work very well to tank just about all content, raids and instances, while undergeared, they will struggle against raid bosses in the end game if they remain undergeared but are really solid tanks.

Druid Tanking Macros for Patch 3.3

There are a few key automated druid tanking macros that I use while playing World of Warcraft. It doesn't matter if I'm in a group or in a raid, I have classified them into two different types, AoE Tanking and Single Target or (Boss Tanking). The Druid as a tank is one of the easiest classes to macro. What I do while tanking is set a button on my interface designated for this macro. I use an G15 Keyboard to "autofire" the tanking macro so it's being pressed at a rate of at least 1 time per second and is set to run until I stop the auto fire again.
