The Slave Pens Coilfang Reservoir Guide

Coilfang Reservoir: The Slave Pens provide a lesser challenge than The Underbog. This place is easier to hit up with a group of 62s and will likely result in you killing a boss or three. It is found in the Coilfang Reservoir located in Zangarmarsh. It is 1 of 3 5-man instances located in the Coilfang Reservoir, it is the least difficult level wise. Inside you will find angry looking 4 legged monster things that start with a B and lots of Naga. The Naga are often near by nuetral 'slaves' that will turn aggresive when you attack the Naga. At the time of this writing some of the slaves would actually retreat after the Naga was killed, however not all would do this (perhaps.. something, too complicated for the Jamo?).

Coilfang Reservoir: The Slave Pens is set in a semiaquatic themed half ruined temple. As with other instances there are a few bosses, to name a few: Mennu the Betrayer, Rokmar the Crackler and Quagmirran. You'll find yourself skipping a lot of mobs are you run through this place.

Mennu the Betrayer

Mennu the Betrayer is cake, he pretty much did nothing to try to kill us. Except he hit the tank a bunch while the rest dps'd him. I don't think he killed anyone when we one-shotted him, and I really don't recall any special abilities other than 'hit'. We took out one pat to the right of the base of his stairwell before pulling him back into the hallway we came from. He dropped a Wastewalker Shiv that I was pressured into passing to a rogue (I'm a fury warrior).

Rokmar the Crackler

This guy is a giant crab beast.. literally. Check out this polaroid I took of him:

But seriously, this guy hits hard and does some crazy aoe stuff that kept killing my party. I think what we need to do is either hit him harder, or stop taking so much damage. I think being his level might be a good place to start.

Quagmirran

Quagmirran told me not to share anything about him. I think he's trying to keep The Slave Pens a secret.
