New Druid Talents
Here is a preview of the new Druid talents coming in Wrath of the Lich King. Of course, they are all preliminary and subject to change. The information is from the World Wide Invitation and we will keep it updated as Blizzard releases more information.
Balance
Starfall (requires 50 points, 866 mana, 30 yard range, instant cast, 3 minute cooldown): You summon a flurry of stars from the sky on all targets within 30 yards of the caster, each doing 500-580 Arcane damage, and an additional 170 Arcane to all nearby targets within 5 yards. Maximum 20 stars. Lasts 10 seconds.
Nature's Fury (requires 45 points): Your Wrath and Starfire spells have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance of applying the Nature's Fury debuff on the target. The Nature's Fury debuff increases Nature and Arcane damage done to the target by 2%. Lasts 20 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
Gale Winds (requires 40 points): Increases damage done by your Hurricane and Typhoon spells by 25/50%, and increases the range of your Cyclone spell by 10/20%.
Eclipse (requires 40 points): When you critically hit with Starfire, you have a 20/40/60% chance of increasing damage done by Wrath by 10%. When you critically hit with Wrath, you have a 20% chance of increasing your critical strike chance with Starfire by 10%. Effect lasts 30 seconds and has a 2 min cooldown.
Typhoon (requires 40 points): You summon a violent Typhoon that does 530 Nature damage when in contact with hostile targets, knocking them back 5 yards.
Olwkin Frenzy (requires 35 points): Attacks done to you while in Moonkin form have a 5/10/15% chance to cause you to go into a Frenzy, increasing your damage by 10% and causes you to be immune to pushback while casting Balance spells. Lasts 10 seconds.
Improved Moonkin Form (requires 30 points): Your Moonkin Aura also causes affected targets to have a 33/66/100% chance to gain 20% spell haste when they critically hit with spells for 10 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every few seconds.
Feral Combat
Berserk (requires 50 points, instant cast): Reduces the energy cost of your Cat form abilities by 50% while in Cat form, and increases your total health by 1% and causes your Mangle (Bear) and Maul abilities hit up to 3 maximum targets while in Bear form or Dire Bear form. Berserk instantly clears all effects which cause loss of control of your character, and makes you immune to them for the duration.
Primal Aggression (requires 45 points): Increases damage done by your Maul and Shred attacks on bleeding targets by 2/4/6/8/10%, and increases the critical strike chance of your Ferocious Bite ability on bleeding targets by 10/20/30/40/50%.
Improved Mangle (requires 40 points): Reduces the cooldown of your Mangle (Bear) ability by 7/14/20%, and reduces the energy cost of your Mangle (Cat) ability by 2/4/6.
Infected Wounds (requires 40 points): Your Shred, Maul and Mangle attacks have a 33/66/100% chance to cause an Infected Wound in the target. The Infected Wound reduces the movement speed and attack speed of the target by 10%. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts 12 seconds.
King of the Jungle (requires 35 points): While Enraged in Bear form or Dire Bear form, your damage is increased by 5/10/15%, and your Tiger's Fury ability also instantly restores 20/40/60 energy.
Primal Precision (requires 15 points): Increases your expertise by 5/10, and you are refunded 40/80% of the energy cost of a finishing move if it fails to land.
Restoration
Master Shapeshifter (requires 10 points): Grants an effect which lasts while the Druid is within the respective shapeshift form.
- Bear form - Increases physical damage by 2/4%.
- Cat form - Increases critical strike chance by 2/4%
- Moonkin form - Increases spell damage by 2/4%.
- Tree form - Increases healing by 2/4%.
Living Seed (requires 35 points): When you gain a critical effect from your Swiftmend, Regrowth, Nourish or Healing Touch spell you have a 33/66/100% chance to plant a Living Seed on the target for 30% of the amount healed. The Living Seed will bloom when the target is next attacked. Lasts 15 seconds.
Replenish (requires 40 points): Your Rejuvenation spell has a 5/10/15% chance to restore 10 Energy, 4 Rage, 2% Mana or 10 Runic Power per tick.
Improved Tree of Life (requires 40 points): Increases your Armor while in Tree of Life Form by 120/240/360%, and increases the effect of your Bark's Blessing by 1/3/5%.
Gift of the Earthmother (requires 45 points): Reduces the global cooldown of your Rejuvenation and Lifebloom spells by 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 sec, and causes your Healing Touch and Nourish spells to refund 1/2/3/4/5% of their base cost for each healing over time effect on the target.
Flourish (requires 50 points, 450 mana, 40 yard range): Heal up to 5 friendly party or raid members within 10 yards of the target for 672 over 7 sec. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as the Flourish reaches its full duration.
