New Warlock Talents
Here is a preview of the new Warlock talents coming in Wrath of the Lich King. Of course, they are all preliminary and subject to change. The information is from the World Wide Invitation and we will keep it updated as Blizzard releases more information.
Affliction
Cripple (requires 50 points, mana cost: 12% mana base, 30 yard range, 1.5 second cast): Cripples the target, reducing movement speed by 75%, silencing the target. Cripple causes the target to be immune to physical attacks, but still vulnerable to spells. Lasts 20 sec. Only 1 target can be crippled at a time.
Everlasting Affliction: (requires 45 points) Your Corruption, Siphon Life and Unstable Affliction spells gain an additional 4/8/12/16/20% of your bonus spell damage effects, and your Drain Life and Shadow Bolt spells have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to reset the duration of your Corruption spell on the target.
Soul Depletion (requires 40 points): Your Corruption spell ticks have a 5/10/15% chance of consuming 2% Mana, 8 Energy, 4 Rage or 8 Runic Power on affected targets.
Death's Embrace (requires 40 points): Increases the the amount drained by your Drain Life by 10/20/30% while your health is at or below 20% health, and increases the critical strike chance of your Shadowbolt and Shadowburn spells by 5/10/15% when your target is at or below 20% health.
Eradication (requires 25 points): Your Corruption, Siphon Life, and Curse of Agony ticks have a 5/10/15% chance to increase your spell casting speed by 20% for 8 sec. This effect has a 10 second cooldown.
Demonology
Metamorphosis (requires 50 points, instant cast, 5 minute cooldown): You transform into a Demon, with full health and mana. While in Demon Form, you gain Demonic abilities and your armor is increased to 360%, but your pet no longer is summoned. When leaving Demon Form, your health and mana is returned back to normal and your pet is re-summoned.
Demonic Pact (requires 45 points): Increases your Spirit by 1/2/3/4/5% while your Demon is active. In addition, your pet attacks have a 7/14/21/28/35% chance to increase your party's total Health and Damage by 1. Stacks up to 3 times. Lasts 10 seconds.
Demonic Empathy (requires 40 points): When you or your pet is critically hit, the other has a 33/66/100% chance to have their casting or attack speed increased by30% for 8 seconds.
Love Struck (requires 40 points): While the Succubus is active, physical attacks done to you or your Succubus have a 5/10/15% chance to heal you or your Succubus instead of doing damage. The healing caused by Love Struck will not exceed 50% of the Warlock or Succubus' total health. This effect has a 6 second cooldown.
Fel Synergy (requires 35 points): Your Summoned Demons share an additional 5/10% of your Armor, Intellect and Stamina, and you have a 50/100% chance to heal your pet for 15% of the amount of damage done by you.
Demonic Empowerment (requires 30 points): Grants the Warlock's summoned demon Empowerment.
- Succubus - Instantly vanishes, turning the Succubus invisible and restoring it's health to 100%. The vanish effect removes all stuns, snares and movement impairing effects from the Succubus.
- Voidwalker - Increases the Voidwalker's health by 20%, and it's threat generated from spells and attacks by 20%.
- Imp - Increases the Imp's damage by 20% and chance to critically hit with spells by 20%.
- Felguard - Increases the Felguard's attack speed by 20% and breaks all stun, snare and movement impairing effects and makes your Fel Guard immune to them.
- Felhunter - Resets all the Felhunter's cooldowns.
Fel Vitality (requires 5 points): Combines the effects of Fel Intellect and Fel Stamina. (Increases the Intellect and Stamina of your [summoned demons] by 5/15% and your maximum health by 1/3%) Replaces Fel Intellect in the talent tree.
Destruction
Chaos Bolt (requires 50 points, 715 mana, 1.5 second cast, 8 second cooldown, 30 yard range): Sends a bolt of Chaotic Fire at the enemy, dealing 990-1256 Fire damage. Chaos Bolt cannot be resisted, and pierces through absorption and immunity mechanics.
Eternal Flame (requires 45 points): "Your Searing Pain and Incinerate spells have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to refresh the duration of your Immolate spell on the target. In addition, your Searing Pain and Incinerate spells increase the damage of your Immolate on the target by 1/2/3/4/5%, stacking up to 5 times."
Backdraft (requires 40 points): Increases the critical chance of your Conflagrate, Immolate and Shadowflame spells by 4/7/10%.
Empowered Imp (requires 40 points): "Increases the damage done by your Imp by 5/10/15%, and all critical hits done by your Imp have a 20/40/60% chance to increase your spell critical hit chance for your next spell by 100%. This effect lasts 8 sec."
Kindling Soul (requires 35 points): Your spell damage is increased by 5/10% of your Spirit, and your spell crits increase your Spirit by 15/30% for 10 sec.
Demonic Power (requires 10 points): Combines the effects of Improved Fire Bolt and Improved Lash of Pain. (Reduces the casting time of your Imp's Fire Bolt by .25/.5 sec and reduced the cooldown on your Succubus' Lash of Pain by 3/6 sec.) Replaces Improved Fire Bolt in the talent tree.
Molten Core (requires 5 points): Your Shadow spells and damage over time effects have a 4/7/10% chance to increase the damage of your Fire spells by 10% for 6 sec.
